Features
The Virtual Air Guitar is currently featured at the Heureka Science Centre in Finland. Heureka is a large science museum open to the public, and its Music exhibition, where the Air Guitar is on display, is open from March 2005 to March 2006 - though the Air Guitar will stay on display until at least 2007. It's been played 60 000 times between March '05 and February '06, or 5000 times each month, which translates to about 4.5 hours of continuous play every day.
In 2007, the Virtual Air Guitar will become a permanent exhibit at Heureka. The Music exhibition will close, but the entire exhibition as well as the Virtual Air Guitar exhibit may be featured in other science museums around the world.
Top Talent Europrix
The Virtual Air Guitar was chosen as a finalist in the Top Talent Europrix multimedia competition. There are a total of 22 finalists (3 in each category) out of 411 entrants from 30 countries. The winners will be chosen at the Top Talent Festival on March 2nd - 5th in Vienna, Austria.
